Spencer "Spike" Johnson

Spencer (Spike) Johnson has been playing and studying guitar and bass for over ten years.

Spencer received a certificate of Music from the City College of San Francisco and he is also an alumnus of Northeastern Illinois University's Music program.

He has performed around the country in various touring bands.

Spencer specializes in Bass technique and Rock, Folk and Blues Guitar and teaches our Kids Rock Band 101 classes.

Spencer is currently performing and recording with the Chicago based band The Yolks. Read a review of the band in the Chicago Tribune.
